The project \u201dPORT\u00a0Cultural: PORTfolio of innovative tools for sustainable development of rural communities with tourism potential, through capitalization of\u00a0cultural\u00a0patrimony and\u00a0cultural\u00a0identity\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, address the objectives of Subprogram 1.2. \u201dIntitutional Performance\u201d, contributing to the field \u201dPatrimony and\u00a0cultural\u00a0identity\u201d of SNCDI 2020.<\/p>

The project aim is to improve the institutional performance of all six research institutions, members of the consortium, through development of diversified research competences, according to the institutional specificity of project partners, in the broad field of\u00a0cultural\u00a0landscape protection and\u00a0cultural\u00a0patrimony, in two pilot areas: Bucovina and South-Transylvania.<\/p>

The field of intervention of the project is aligned to the EU objective \u201dto promote the\u00a0cultural\u00a0and linguistic patrimony of each member state, (\u2026) to contribute to the reinforcement of group identities in the coordinates of multiculturalism\u201d (CDI Strategy 2020, p. 23).<\/p>

From a wide research area, the project will investigate the societal and historic context of changes in the present\u00a0cultural\u00a0landscape, through historic, ethno-demographic and anthropological studies and will develop a portfolio of innovative tools, consisting of research methodologies, data bases with models of traditional constructions posted on interactive platforms, architectural projects for adapting the vernacular buildings to modern, contemporary functionality.<\/p>

The developed solutions, as technological and non-technological innovation, will be delivered as \u201dready-to-use\u201d tools, completed to be registered as patents, to public administration bodies from targeted areas, to private and non-profit organizations, to professional associations, to the owners of built patrimony, delivering precise solutions for preservation of relevant elements, but as well as studies for sustainable development of tourism destinations, capable to use the\u00a0cultural\u00a0patrimony as a tourism resource, studies for development of entrepreneurship in rural communities, complex models of impact of modernisation\/development of the regional identity and the impact of integration to (inter)national consumption chains.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
